The Presidency has inaugurated a technical working committee for the launch of a book titled The New Nigeria: Compliment to the Game Changer, dedicated to President Bola Tinubu.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Mr Mohammed Isa, inaugurated the committee on Monday in Abuja.
Mr Isa said the book project was initiated by the International Christian Organisation for Sustainable Development (ICOSD) in partnership with his office, adding that it aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to him, the initiative reflects the administration’s vision of bold reforms, inclusive growth and decisive leadership.
“The book captures the remarkable progress, policy choices and strategic reforms being implemented by the President, and invites Nigerians to appreciate this defining moment in our national journey,” he said.
Mr Isa charged members of the committee to work diligently to ensure a successful and nationally significant book launch, urging strict adherence to the approved terms of reference, implementation strategy and sponsorship plan.
He stressed the importance of teamwork, professionalism, accountability and dedication, before formally inaugurating the committee members.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ICOSD and author of the book, Mr Joseph Vambe, said the project was inspired by President Tinubu’s emergence and the reform agenda of his administration.
Mr Vambe said the organisation began documenting the administration’s activities from the President’s first day in office to demonstrate that Nigeria is already witnessing the emergence of a New Nigeria.
He commended the SSA for his support and partnership, describing the collaboration as a major boost to the project.
“We approached government institutions earlier, but our meeting with the SSA marked a turning point. From that moment, he showed interest and embraced the vision,” he said.
Mr Vambe added that the partnership was aimed at promoting empowerment initiatives and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda, while expressing confidence in Nigeria’s drive towards becoming a trillion dollar economy.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Technical Committee, Mr Emmanuel Afolabi, thanked the SSA for the warm reception accorded the committee.
He assured that members would work within established guidelines to ensure the successful execution of the assignment in line with the President’s vision.
“We will work according to the norms guiding this committee, with the aim of contributing to a greater Nigeria,” he said.
