Kaduna Will Support Tinubu’s Re-election in 2027, Says Uba Sani

Governor Uba Sani has said Kaduna State will support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, citing several development projects attracted to the state under his administration.

The governor made the statement on Sunday during a stakeholders’ engagement on the ongoing nationwide e-registration of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking to party stakeholders in Zone 2, Governor Sani said Kaduna State is targeting 2.5 million registered APC members, noting that the party has become the dominant political force in the state.

He attributed the growing support for the APC to his administration’s inclusive development strategy and the numerous federal projects facilitated by President Tinubu in Kaduna State.

According to the governor, the Federal Government has approved N1 billion in support of the Kaduna State Light Rail project, a level of intervention he described as unprecedented in northern Nigeria.

He also revealed that Kaduna State has been selected as the pilot state for a major poultry development project, with $200 million already approved by the Federal Government.

The project, he said, is expected to create about 350,000 jobs and support thousands of small and medium-scale businesses.

Governor Sani further thanked President Tinubu for approving the construction of the Mando–Birnin Gwari road and the reconstruction of the Kwoi–Jema’a road.

He added that several projects have been captured in the current federal budget through collaboration with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, particularly for Zone 1 of the state.

The governor concluded that with the level of support from the Federal Government, Kaduna State is well positioned to emerge as one of the leading states in the APC e-registration exercise.
