The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

She was officially presented alongside the party’s governorship candidate, Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), during a ceremony held on Sunday in Abeokuta.

Adegunwa-Balogun’s emergence follows the party’s decision to zone the deputy governorship position to Ogun East Senatorial District and specifically to Ijebu Ode Federal Constituency.

A finance expert with years of corporate experience, she is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Finance and Administration at Rite Foods Limited.

Party leaders described her selection as a step that will further strengthen the APC ahead of the 2027 governorship election, expressing confidence in her ability to complement the party’s ticket.
