APC dismisses report on 2027 nomination forms pricing as fake

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked reports circulating in sections of the media claiming that it has released a price list for expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party described the report as false and misleading, stating that no such decision has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of forms for the forthcoming elections.

In a press statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the purported price list did not emanate from the party.

“The report is fake and a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read.

The party stressed that it has not made any official announcement concerning the 2027 election nomination forms, urging members and the general public to disregard the information.

It also called on the media to verify information before publication to avoid spreading misinformation capable of misleading party faithful and Nigerians at large.

The APC reiterated its commitment to due process and transparency, noting that any decision on the sale of nomination forms would be officially communicated through appropriate channels.
