Ipara, Ogun State – Mr. Nasiru Abiodun, a teacher and resident of Ipara, has described this year’s Oguola Festival as a remarkable celebration of the community’s heritage.

Speaking to Edunright Media correspondents, Abiodun said the festival is more than fun; it is a time to honour the ancestors who laid the foundation for the community today.

“Oguola Festival is not just celebrated for enjoyment. It is about remembering our forebears and acknowledging their contributions,” he said. “Being part of this festival, which has positively touched so many lives, is a great pleasure.”

Abiodun also paid tribute to past heroes who fought for the well-being of the people and stressed the importance of celebrating Ipara’s culture. “There is no better way to celebrate our culture than through Oguola Festival,” he said.

He described the festival as a time for the community to come together, give recognition, and celebrate their shared heritage. He thanked God for the opportunity to witness the event and prayed for many more editions of the festival in the years ahead.

Concluding the interview, Abiodun said the festival continues to inspire hope, honour the legacy of past heroes, and open the way for future celebrations.
