Olori Omolara Tejuoso, wife of the Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Dr. Adedapo Tejuoso, on Monday celebrated her 75th birthday in grand style at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The colourful celebration attracted prominent traditional rulers, political leaders, government officials, family members, friends and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the milestone with the celebrant.
The event commenced with an opening prayer by a priest, after which guests and dignitaries joined the celebrant in marking the special occasion.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were the former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba; the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele; former Governor of Ogun State and former Senator representing Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun; the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun; and the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Prof. Saka Matemilola.
Other dignitaries, traditional rulers, government officials, family members, friends and well-wishers were also present at the celebration.
Speaking at the event, the celebrant expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God for preserving her life and giving her the opportunity to attain the age of 75.
Olori Tejuoso also appreciated her husband, the Osile of Oke-Ona, Oba Dr. Adedapo Tejuoso, for his unwavering support, love and guidance throughout their years together.
She said, “I sincerely want to appreciate Almighty God for finding me worthy to be alive to celebrate this milestone. I also want to appreciate my dear husband for his unwavering support and guidance.
“To all the dignitaries who graced this occasion, I say thank you. To everyone who came to celebrate with me, may God grant you journey mercies to your various destinations.”
The celebration was characterised by joy, thanksgiving and glamour, as family members, friends, traditional rulers, political leaders and other well-wishers joined Olori Omolara Tejuoso in celebrating 75 years of life and accomplishments.
